1. Make the cables to be measured dead.
2. Decouple the cable to be measured from the MAINS.
3. Connect the cables to be measured to earth and lead sheatings by means of "short-circuit" cables.
4. Connect the phase colour injector(s) to the short-circuit cables by means of the three current measuring pliers.
5. Switch on the phase colour injector(s),
the three green led's are emitting light.
6. Connect the earthing wire of the phase colour detector to the lead sheating of
cable A or B.
7. Now measure the three cores with the probe, while pressing the "ON" button.
1. The phase colour recognition detector has a lamp test, "LT" for the benefit of control display, the detector has also been provide with a "BAT" battery control, (for further information see MODUS sheet).
2. The phase colour recognition injector can be tested by connecting earth and the probe by means of the detector, after which current measuring pliers are connected to this "loop".
